Is everything confidential?

We follow HIPAA, and state and federal laws regarding client confidentiality. We use a HIPAA-complaint Electronic Health Records (EHR) system and HIPAA-complaint email and phone lines. Please be aware that, while your provider has HIPAA-compliant email and phone lines, your devices and accounts may not be HIPAA-compliant. We ask you to be mindful about what you send via text or email and do not place any confidential information in your messages.

Please be aware that there may be times when we are obligated to break confidentiality to protect you or others or comply with state and federal laws. Please reach out if you have any questions about informed consent or confidentiality laws.

What if I haven't met my treatment goals but I feel done with therapy?

You are the expert on you. A lot can happen between the start and end of the therapeutic process. While your provider may track your progress via questionnaires and your treatment plan,  we do rely on your own observations to track when treatment is "done." Some examples may be feeling less distressed as you go about your day, struggling to find what you would like to work on or you find you're able to overcome obstacles much easier than previously.

We encourage you to speak with your provider about any questions you may have about feeling "done."

What therapy modalities do you provide?

Currently, we are able to work with individuals who are 18-years-old and older. We work with everyone individually.
